“Walk & talk” sessions:

As the name suggests, we’ll take a walk at an agreed location and then talk about your presenting problem(s). 2 birds, 1 stone comes to mind; the benefits of fresh air and physical activity, whilst getting oriented to therapy and discussing the CBT principles that we identify as helpful to you.

“Spill the beans” coffee morning sessions:

Like the above, the clue is in the name, except here we’ll meet in a coffee shop of your choosing and find a quiet corner to talk in as much or as little detail as you’re comfortable with.

“CBTee it up”:

They say you really get to know who a person is on the golf course, so where better to conduct therapy. Why not play 9 holes together instead of sitting in a stuffy clinic room? During this 1 ½ / 2-hour session we’ll hack away at the course and chat, allowing me to assess your current difficulties, socialise you to CBT, identify therapy goals, and agree on a treatment plan.

Clinical supervision for individuals / groups:

A particular passion of mine is supporting my psychology brethren with supervision, where we think together about your clinical work, nurture existing talents, and strengthen areas for improvement. I have experience supervising on a 1-2-1 basis or facilitating small supervision groups.

Psychoeducation / wellbeing workshops:

Delivering workshops to small groups or businesses with the aim of destigmatising mental illness, improving wellbeing, enhancing performance, managing stress, building confidence, and much more.

Bespoke corporate wellbeing packages:

I can provide tailor made workshops and deliver these to corporations, who specify their requirements. Typically, these will be related to improving staff wellbeing, enhancing staff performance, managing staff stress levels, etc. Corporate packages can also include drop-in individual sessions for staff, on request.

Coaching:

Perhaps you aren’t in mental distress but instead just feel stuck in some or all domains of your life (work, relationships, health, finances, leisure, personal development). Coaching will help you take accountability and develop the motivation to take positive action towards changing the status quo.

“I found Brad to be an excellent therapist. His laid back, calm manner made me feel right at home immediately and happy to discuss my issues. The CBT techniques helped me realise how stuck I’d become and how my thinking needed to change. It is not easy and there is a way to go still, but I use these techniques daily to give me a break from my anxieties. I know I can call Brad anytime if I found myself slipping again.”

“I spent a few months in therapy with Brad and found him to be very easy to talk to and understanding in what I was going through with my personal issues. I found him very professional and will recommend him to anybody.”

by Client

“Brad has been supervising me in my private practice as a CBT therapist for the past 3 years. In that time, I have found him to be invaluable to my professional development. His down to earth approach to supervision has allowed me to grow extensively in my knowledge and confidence, with a range of clinical presentations. Brad is personable, knowledgeable, diligent, encouraging, and supportive.”

by Therapist

“Supervision with Brad has largely shaped who I am as a clinician today. His patience, knowledge, and caring nature are what stand out to me, with Brad’s helpful guidance often in the back of my mind whilst working with clients. As a supervisee, you’re put at ease instantly, no question is too silly, and you always feel like you are leaving the hour with clear direction for your cases. Brad helps you stay grounded, whilst developing your own clinical decision making in a natural, collaborative way. I have a lot to thank Brad for and anyone who gets a chance to be supervised by him is very lucky.”
